In October 2016 the Ottawa Arts Council launched a one-year initiative called the Cultural Sustainability Project. The purpose of this project was to explore the potential of creating a shared resources platform for Ottawa’s cultural sector. Through a series of town halls, community consultations, and research, the Council uncovered the needs of local arts organizations and learned about successful models of shared resources by visiting other communities.

Over a period of 10 months, the project team met with more than 80 cultural organizations in Ottawa, across Canada, and in the United States, and compiled a report of findings.

Please join Nathalie Des Rosiers, MPP Ottawa-Vanier and the Ottawa Arts Council to learn more about the outcomes and recommendations.
