Gwyneth Orr

Gwyneth Orr’s project is a photo series on the fragile journey of childhood into young adulthood. Titled Avis, from the Latin for bird, Orr conceptually links animal migration to her young subjects’ journey while acknowledging humanity’s place within the animal kingdom and the greater evolutionary narrative.

2017

  • Yasmine El Mansouri’s project is a short film about the city of Ottawa, aiming to humbly celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday and the city that welcomed her. She hopes to create a film that reflects and celebrates Ottawa’s cultural diversity. She presented her project in November 17, 2017.
  • Jennifer Lee’s project is entitled, ‘Odes to My Plague: Vulnerability, Disorder, Recovery’. This interactive room-sized installation aims to raise awareness of the struggles of those who suffer from eating disorders, by which the audience may empathize with those suffering from body dysmorphic disorder. She presented her project ‘Odes to My Plague: Vulnerability, Disorder, Recovery’ on Jun 5, 2018.
